Primarily for girls age 10, although 9-year-olds may request to "play up" to Coast and 11-year-olds may request to "play down". Players must attend skill evaluations. (Note: All players will be placed onto teams; the skill evaluation is used as a tool to create more equitable teams.) 9-year-olds must score in top third of Coast players to be eligible to “play up”.
Girls pitch all games. Standard walk and strikeout rules apply. Bunting and sliding are introduced at this level, and players will learn positions. Game scores are kept, but no league standings. A "play off" tournament at the end of the season determines each year's team representatives for 'Sammamish Little League's Championship Saturday' season finale game. The emphasis is on sportsmanship, fun, knowledge of game, pitching, and position development.
Before you begin:
- If you have not already done so, run through the Pre-Registration Checklist.
- You'll be given the option to request to play up during registration. If you plan to select this option, do the following right now:
- please confirm your child qualifies per the SLL Policy, and
- complete the softball waiver and
- email it as instructed at the bottom of the softball waiver
- Please consider donating to the Brock O'Connor Memorial Fund. The Scholarship Fund was established in Brock's honor to assist families that needed some help for their player to pay for uniforms, equipment and fees.

If you cannot volunteer for one of the needed roles, we ask that you pay the $20 Non-Volunteer fee in lieu of contributing your time.
