before getting started...
Sammamish Little League (SLL) offers both baseball (ages 5-13) and softball (ages 5-14) programs. We also offer a Challenger League for special needs children age 6-18.
Pre-Registration Checklist:
- Confirm you live within our league boundary. If you live outside the area covered by SLL for any program besides Challenger Division, you will not be able to play with us. If you do not fall within the SLL boundary, please check your area for the appropriate Little League organization. We border Little Leagues in Eastlake, Issaquah, and Fall City.
- Levels of play are based on league-age. Depending upon the program you choose, please refer to the official Little League Softball Age Table or Baseball Age Table to confirm your child's league-age. Jot this down so you can select the appropriate level of play for your son or daughter.
- SLL handles registration online. Before signing up for any program, activity, or submitting any online form, you must have an account. (Accounts from previous years are valid.) You must have an account to actually register any participant(s). If you are creating a new account, be sure to make a note of your username and password.
- Children enrolled in Baseball: Pioneer, Coast, or Majors level, or Softball: Coast, Majors, or Juniors level are required to attend SLL Skill Evaluations in late January. Check the schedule on the SLL website calendar and reserve time on your schedule to attend.
- Playing up: Since not all children in a given school grade are the same age, our policy allows players the option to "play-up" with their grade level peers. If you plan to excercise this option, please refer to the Baseball Level of Play Policy or Softball Level of Play Policy to confirm your child qualifies. You will also need to submit a waiver (available during registration process) for approval to the league player agent.
- SLL relies on volunteers. Determine which of the SLL Volunteer Roles you can fulfill. If you cannot fulfill one of these roles, please pay the $20 Non-Volunteer fee in lieu of contributing your time.
